Up / Down Fundraiser |

| The format is designed as a competitive tennis tournament. Twenty-four participants pay a pre-determined amount of money to participate in the tournament. The purpose of the tournament is to promote awareness about the sport of Up/Down tennis and to raise money for the IWTA. The cost for the trophies or gifts certificates for the finalists will come from a portion of the tournament entry fee. Court fees, drinks and food, and tennis balls will also be taken from entry fees. The IWTA board funded one Up/Down Fundraiser in 2004 and will continue to run this fundraiser in the years to come. The organization spends about 10% of its time on this activity. |  |
